No passado dia 28 de Abril foi lançada em Portugal a cerveja Daura Damm e, a equipa RED foi conhecer de perto a cerveja sem glúten mais premiada do mundo.
Apta para celíacos e para todos os adeptos de um estilo de vida saudável, Daura Damm tem o mesmo sabor que uma cerveja lager normal.
Daura Damm tem a garrafa identificada com o símbolo da espiga cortada, a menção “isenta de glúten” e, em Portugal, uma parceria com a Associação Portuguesa de Celíacos (APC).
Em Portugal existem cerca de 10.000 casos de celíacos diagnosticados mas, estima-se que possa atingir entre 70.000 a 100.000 pessoas. Os passos da produção de Daura Damm são muito semelhantes aos das cervejas lager, mas Damm promove a hidrólise de proteínas para garantir que tem menos de 3 ppm de glúten. Para garantir a qualidade é sempre enviada para análise do CSIC uma amostra de todos os lotes produzidos de Daura Damm.
